A Year of Growth — and Our Biggest Milestone Yet
Over the past year, Cultivate Care Farms has experienced a season of growth unlike any in our history. When we launched our Cultivating Community campaign just over a year ago, we set out to secure a permanent home and expand access to the healing power of Farm-Based Therapy (FBT). Thanks to your incredible support, that vision is becoming reality.
In 2025, we reached several major milestones:
We purchased the historic Sawyer Farm, in Bolton, ensuring Cultivate Care Farms will remain a permanent home for healing and connection.
We have completed critical repairs to the historic Barn, creating a safe and beautiful space as well as preserving an important piece of local history.
We launched the Hazel Initiative, welcoming students from Worcester-area schools to experience the Farm during the school day.
And most recently, we’ve received a $125,000 grant from the Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts—the largest in our history—to build Curly’s Clubhouse, a space for group therapy, school programs, and community gatherings.
Curly’s Clubhouse, named after one of our original Angora goats, represents the next step in making our services more accessible to everyone who needs them. When completed, it will allow even more children and teens to participate fully in FBT, healing, and growth at the Farm.
This milestone brings us ever closer to completing Phase I of our campaign, which focuses on accessibility, sustainability, and mission-aligned growth. With your continued support, we’ll soon be able to welcome even more young people and families to find hope and belonging here.
